The safety of building occupants is of critical importance at Constellation Place. The building is fully sprinklered and has state-of-the-art fire and life safety systems. In addition, the following safety programs are offered to building tenants and staff:

On-line Emergency Occupant Training is available for all building employees and must be taken by new employees within the first 14 days of employment. The web-based training and video covers fire procedures, bomb threats, earthquakes, power outages, medical emergencies and elevator entrapments.

Emergency Occupant manuals are distributed to each tenant prior to move-in.  The manuals include comprehensive emergency instructions such as evacuation routes, safe refuge maps and fire extinguisher and stairwell locations.
Annual Emergency Preparedness Fairs are held in the Main Lobby where vendors display and sell emergency items for office and home use.
Emergency awareness training seminars on topics relative to current events and emergency situations such as Bomb Threat Awareness, Terrorism Awareness and Workplace Violence are routinely conducted for building staff and tenants.
Constellation Place’s Fire Life Safety vendor, F-11 Productions, updates all security and fire life safety manuals on an annual basis and coordinates staff and tenant training, which includes four 1-hour Floor Warden training sessions offered to building staff and tenant Emergency Response Teams.
Floor Warden and Emergency Response Team members are issued current Floor Warden Manuals each year.
Building wide fire drills are conducted twice a year. During the fire drills, alarms are activated on each floor so every tenant becomes familiar with the sound of the alarm, activation of strobes, public address system announcements and closing of fire doors.
